Bodyboarding in the Far West

Gwithian - Fast hollow and challenging, Gwithian is one of the finest bodyboarding waves in Cornwall when it's working, most bodyboarders head for Godrevy (north) end.

Porthmeor Beach - An excellent bodyboarding beach supporting one of the biggest bodyboarding populations in Britain. Hollow and heavy at low tide, especially "Boilers" which breaks over an old ship's boiler (from a wreck) buried in the sand. Drops off at high tide, but there can sometimes be a good shorebreak.
