Newquay never closes; the laughter never stops. Here, Spring comes early and Summer stays so late that Autumn and Winter are more months than seasons. You can pick up a tan in October and a

You won 't have a minute to spare - unless you want to, and then you will find Newquay is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy any time, any season.
Gardeners, please note - Cornwall's balmy climate ensures there is always life and colour in the great gardens of the town and nearby countryside. Of those listed on page 33 , all but Trerice and Trewithen are open all year round.
In the bracing sea air, high up on the Peninsula Path above Newquay, walking is both exercise and entertainment. There are more than 10 circular walks to discover in and around the town. And for contrast, there is the gentle, wooded southern coast, with that unique, centuries-old combination of coast path and countryside trail called the Saint's Way.
