Cornwall'98 Waterside Guide
Bodyboarding the South Coast
Praa Sands, Perannuthnoe - Heavy, hollow high tide shore breaks excellent for bodyboarding.
Porthleven - Apart from rocks, the crowd is the biggest hazard here, but it is an ideal bodyboarding wave for experienced riders only when its on, with some of the biggestbarrels to be found. Experienced (and brave!) bodyboarders sometimes surf it at low tide when it's too shallow for surfers and hence uncrowded. The harbour wall, called "Suicides" or "Graveyards" for obvious reasons, is also a popular bodyboarding wave.
